Swords and Leaves Picture Gallery

This typical 'scrawny' WW1 swords and oakleaves device in one piece was worn on a Baden Zähringen Lion Order as awarded to captains or lieutenant colonels-the swords and leaves were always gold, regardless of the metal of the Order class. A few other German WW1 awards also employed swords and leaves.

Here is the same device, only a 2 piece version from a WW2 made bar.
