Don't know what it supposed to be, but it's just an item made of a zeltbahncloth. Maybe fieldmade for a sidecar, but who knows???

      Hi,
As it's pure 'home made' ... it's difficult to know and be sure regarding when it has been done ...

Since one part of the side is white, it is pretty safe to say this is a post war home made cover..... white side splittertarn is BGS (Bundes Grenz Schutz)

btw are you sure it is a side car cover ? These normally have a different form to fit the eyelets of the sidecar
