Original strap for the optic case. Have seen them in all kind of materials, incl. captured polish straps. Yours look simular to polish webbing.

Carrying strap for the MGZ40 optic sight box?!?
I thought it was an early strap seen the alu clasps?
The structure of the strap is uncommon to me.
Is it original? Perhaps a carrying strap for something else?!
