    green tropical Y-straps

    here is a green version of tropical y-straps.

    Repaired - put together , no way to say when or by who ( most likely postwar done ).
    Still looking for LARGE SIZE M43 gabardine jacket and m43 gabardine cap ... maybe some day I will find it best regards Marcin

      To answer your questions regarding why those are put together Y-straps . Check the following areas.


      1 & 3 - Tropical Y-straps never had leather parts with d-ring - those obviously came from leather Y-strap ( addition holes for sewing are well visible in the middle ).
      4 &5 - Orginal made Y-straps NEVER had rolled buckle - those were made in canteens only.
      2 - straps were cut off - sombody added completely diffrent webbing to put them together to be able to attached them to O-ring.

      All areas marked with black circle indicating that those Y-straps were put together by any avaible parts somedoby had at home.

      Those y-strap are good ONLY for parts IMO.
