Those are great kits, and your presentation was well done and informative!

The third brush in the lid was for the 9mm. If you look at that brush you will see an aluminum collar. The diameter of the collar will not let the brush pass through a 7,92mm rifle barrel.

That makes perfect sense now. I will measure that aluminum collar later this evening. Perhaps that is the reason the kit does not include a floorplate takedown tool. I have never before seen a kit like that, am glad I grabbed it. I could not find any reference to cleaning kits for 9mm SMGs.

          Thanks....

Nice kit John. That is the earliest painted tin I have seen to date. Here is a pre-war one. This one is not dated, but I think I have another dated 1938.

                          Hello everyone,
Nice late war tan Kit Willi, keep me in mind if you want to part with that
Anyway here is one of mine, I guess you can push back the year to 1936! EARLY Waffenampt A219 Made by MUNDLOS 1936

                              Rg34's

                              Willi,

I pulled out a few RG34's and I have tried to post a " spread " of versions, I hope they add to this great thread!

                              Robert

The first are two eary phosphate finished cans, the 1936 dated one is in really nice shape for being so old.
