I was going through some stuff from my collection and I was wondering about this tool which is marked H 43 gmm
Is it a good one? I didn't see this maker before and also couldn't find any more info about it. I did hear about the stamp gmm before of it being a fake post war made example but I am not sure and also can't remember exactly how and what...
So a little guidance in the right direction here is appreciated.
But then what is intended to mean by that mark?
I have never seen anything like that before...
Bodes is right, I haven't seen this style before, IMO it is a fake as mentioned earlier to raise value, and not an original marking. The SS marked porcelain and swords indicate they were made in forced labor work shops, mainly Dachau under SS supervision. Never saw a bordered stamp before, they were longer and without a border as I recall, like this one...
Hello,
in one of my cleaning kit I found a "ab43" tool with a flat dorsal profile, while those I know of the same manufacturer and the same year are different, with a more curved back.
What do you think about? Are they all original? If they are all original, why the maker used two different molds?
In the first picture tool number 1 and 2, that are above are with curved dorsal and the tool number 3 under is with flat dorsal.
Thank you for your help, best regards,
Roby
