german WW2

Hi guys,

Here is a strap whose buckle is the one found on the tropical fabric straps of the Afrikakorps.
Do you think this leather strap is really German ww2 and is, as I think, a vintage modification?

It is possible that it is a wartime modification or 20 years after the war, it would be difficult to determine.

Strap doesn‘t look wide enough to be a „normal“ ww2 equipment strap and it has a rivet, which also wasn‘t done on normal equipment straps, so imho a post war modification.
