Well, the stamp is correct, as is the WaA with this maker, but the stamp is on a place i‘ve never seen it before (with this maker that is!!)

Also the material is strange....... would love to inspect this one by hand

my first impression is fake......

It is indeed a very good fake from what I see in these photos.

Not very good fake, but simply a good repro( but seen a way better examples); many things are wrong it (stamp is in wrong place, imitation of presstoff, leather, lenght of loops for belt).. If it was a very good fake than most probably you would not distiguish it from original (and I've seen repros very close to originals which with some aging could fool collectors).

I don't disagree with your statement here, I only used the wording of "very good fake" to convey the attempt at fakery...not to imply it is difficult to distinguish it from an original.

Hello, I dont use "original" materials,my pressstoff is different .
This carrier was sold for 200e on czech auction site last week,Material is from old suitcase,original leather parts and good sewing thread,but result is still fake item.

Looking at these last photos Tom has posted, it's pretty conclusive that these are fakes. The inner die-cut edge in the last photo is way too pristine - it shows that this is a brand new copy that has been "dirtied up". The "aged" leather straps added to complete the effect.
