    I was surfing the internet and this one turned up.
    Is it "thumbs up" or "thumbs down"?

        Thank you.
        I think that he shovel which seems to have original tan painting is the top thing here. Never seen one that matches the tan cover so well.

            yes cover is top , spaten is not of german origin , looks like it was repainted over black war time color post war, wounder abaut the origin of this one ,for sure period made one .

              This set turned up in the USA so if it was a vet bring back then the colour on the spade is most likely war time added, but of course someone could have painted it post war to match the cover. The sand colour do looks very similar to a MG42 lafette that I have here. Would be interesting to find out which country the origin of the spade is.
