    Marine 6x30 Dienstglas ?

    Hello Guys
    I have for a while those bino but I was wondering about the meaning of the M on the left. Dors anyone know ?

    Hello,

    The "M" stands for "metric thread" (metrisches Gewinde) and thus refers to the type of screw. It has no relation to the navy. Your binoculars are the standard binoculars of the German Army (Reichswehr/Wehrmacht) from 1929 on. Your one is from a series of 5000 binoculars from August 1934.
