No airfield can efficiently operate without a good air traffic control officer.

                Luftwaffe Uniforms

Glad to see there is a section for Luftwaffe items now, and this is a great thread to top it off. Nice examples here gentlemen. I'm still drooling over the ones that you have have already posted before and enjoying seeing them again.

All I need are a few more accessories and I'll finally be able to post to this thread. Soon, very soon...

Here is my humble contribution to this thread, winter coat and visor cap it came with. Both have been together since 1945 and are in excellent shape.

                      Matt,

That is a most beautiful set! The condition is mint as well.

Here is another flight support type. This Communications Specialist could have done anything ranging from research and development of communication technology to helping to develop the remote control weapons.

These officials have always been very underappreciated post war for the significant contributions they made to the war effort.

Very nice tropical stuff, Ramjet, can I see a close-up of the pith eagle ?

These eagles have my interest and the more I see, the more I can learn..

Saw you've built a very nice mechanic, why not post it here also, I like it a lot.. ?!

Jos, I will post the mechanic here when it is ready and when I have better pics. I am not completely happy with all details now, will make some final adjustments this week. Then I will also take a close-up of the pith eagle.

                            Have a nice day,
                            Steve

Here comes my flight electrician. He just cleans the plugs of a Durchladeschaltkasten (charging control box) FL 47371 for the MG131 of the Bf109G-6/U-4 (a maintenance regulation for the weapons of this aircraft is in his right hip pocket). Of course even the cleaning cloth is genuine, stamped with F.L.U.V. and the Luftwaffe eagle ...

                              Hav a nice day,
