    Elusive Shoulder Strap.

    Hello,

I collect a pretty specific collecting area. I am always looking for RH IR13 and TR IR56. III Btn,IR13 and Abteilung 57 of the Police formed I Btn,IR56 in the Fall of 1935. I am always on the look out for embroidered shoulder straps of both of these units.

I have always been looking for a transition pieces that fit in between these units during this timeframe. I picked up a few photos of an early IR56 unit and one of the soldiers was wearing straps that I didn't even know existed, an M33 Uniform cloth strap with an embroidered 56!!

                          Congrats Fred.

IR 13 is pretty interesting. Walter Reinhardt, Rommel and Paulus all served in it.
