Still cool this Russian connection (and conversion)! Out of curiosity what kind of uniform got your stamp ?
It's in a Heer camo smock at the Mosfilm Studio. It's one I had photoed there by my researcher.

        hi mates
        Russians reused also captured equipment.
Here is a nice belt I found many years ago.
It is a German officer belt modified to Russian belt for troops.
It retain its german marks, including also a clear RZM mark.

                            Great pictures.
The cammo new ones are welcomed.
                            The helmet ones are sublime

It must be always remembered in a combat zone the wearing of the enemy clothing can be a death sentence.

Is the consensus that the majority of the captured uniform items worn in the pictures are after the end of hostilities ?
I am pointing that regarding the cloth pieces.

I assume so, after the hostilities ended...much safer! (partisans is a different matter of course, like Warsaw uprising and Russian partisans)

Hi guys, allow me to comment a little on this thread On a stamp an inscription - military section, "suit" and registration number. I cannot sort the rest.
Concerning the German form. Thousands of sets of the German form from the German military warehouses right after the end of war were taken out to the USSR. On textile and other factories the German uniform was altered in clothes for the civilian population and other household items which were necessary in the country destroyed by war. Also, during war the trophy German uniform could be altered for soldiers, because of the shortage of the Russian military uniform.
According to the photo with the German trophy helmets. This photo is rather known, after war and this military division had to be disbanded. Before this event the parade was appointed, but a part of the helmets were lost in fights therefore the decision missing helmets was made to replace German. After the parade the German helmets were thrown out and were not used any more.

                                Yours faithfully!
