      You bought the pair too
      Here is my moleskin examples with number removed and cypher Added later:
      B'16' (seems to be 16 removed) and P'41' (with 6 removed).

          Well it was during the Great Depression. Not surprising but great documentation of strap construction.

              Here is a pair of moleskins that used to be lower em's for Pio5 and are now NCO Pio45, Both from Ulm. The IR13 was a lower em then picked and metal numerals replaced embroidered due to promotion.

                      I think they are medical and the stitching for the "7" has faded.

                            This Riker mount pays homage to the 1. Panzer Division. On the top row from left to right straps #1 and #3 are black.
