    mas36 bayonet used on a smg fg42

could someone tell me the overall length of a mas36 bayonet used on a smg fg42 2ad model. ater cutting the tip ,thanks

Why don't you wait until you get yours then cut it to fit. Or send it to rick and pray that it comes back with the rifle. Then raise an intereeb stink because it does not.

its sort of like when you are waiting on a full auto. from atf you buy mags ,ammo while waiting makes the wait go by faster.

It is almost identical to a shortened MAS36 bayonet - which will fit perfectly.
The GCY (Dietriech) factory marked originals are virtually the same - except the end cap seal.

Henry - mine is on an original Krieghoff, I can measure my cut down MAS or the Estes Adams reproduction - but is yours going on an original rifle or on one of the Texan SMG semi-autos? - I am not sure if there is a difference as I do not own an SMG gun.

Has SMG put the FG-42 Type 1 in production?
