Webley 1943 P38 Revolver. Deactivated. Information please

    Hi All,
I acquired this deactivated Webley with it's holster some time ago when I was collecting WW2 items. It was the exceptional condition of the revolver that initially attracted me to it.
I didn't know much about it then and I still don't know much about it now I'm afraid, - never got round to researching it......and now that I am selling my collection off I need to know a little about it to advertise it accurately.
Any advice about the gun would be most welcome.
    Thanks in advance,
    Terry

This isn’t a Webley. It is an Enfield made by the Albion motor company. Its also a very nice tank crew revolver due to the lack of spur on the hammer .Very nice too

The holster is Canadian manufactured. ZL&T Ltd. Zephyr Loom and Textile. It is for a .455 Webley or Smith and Wesson revolver. Mike.

It's a Webley design. Similarly, All Mausers weren't manufactured at Oberndorf or Borsigwalde. Whenever I see a classic firearm that's been reduced to an interesting paperweight, I thank God that I'm not burdened with those regulations.
