Great video. LTC (ret.) Johnson is a fine gentleman and has helped me out a few times over the years by graciously sharing his knowledge.

Keep up the great work Alex!
Interviewing these collector/dealers is an important part of the hobby that should not be over looked.

Mr Johnso should be a bit more carefull when he turns the pages of those photo-albums. He's a brute. Good for ripping off some pages eventually.
His white gloves totally miss their purposes.

the new collector world I would call it ...

Remember the days in the 80´s when Thomas went to the small German auction houses, and visited so often good old Germany.

I’d like to see you how you would turn these pages being at his age and suffering from cancer.

I know Tom Johnson for several years and met him many times during various shows in the US and Germany. I bought several items from him. Always great stuff. Whenever we met we always had a chat. He always took time to talk about the hobby and to share his knowledge. Several times he gave me books as present, like the one about Jim Atwood during the MAX show a few weeks ago. He’s one of the most respectful collectors and dealers in this hobby and a true gentlemen!
