    Black Wound Badge unknown maker.

    Hi guys,

    I just picked up this non maker marked Wound Badge from another member, can anyone help with the identity of the maker.

    Dimensions:-
    Weight..........7 gms.
    Height...........44 mm
    Width.............36.7 mm
    Rim depth......3.00 mm
    Appears to be made of brass.

    What is the mark on the upper left side of the helmet on the reverse?

      Just checked with a loup, it looks like a small x (raised) in the paint.

          O.K. guys, if no one can tell me the maker can anybody at least confirm that it's genuine, I have searched the forum, read numerous threads and all it's done is confuse me.

              Many maker used this type of hardware, so it is an unknown maker for me
