    Hi guys,
I have a vested interest in these badges because I have them both.

Now I may be missing the point but to me both these badges are identical apart from the enamel part of the badge which is clearly different.
The hensler is equally as good a quality as the fuhner badge.
      Regards

I have no dog in this fight but to me the 1919 badge looks to have sharper details on both the obverse & the reverse & the enamel work looks to be higher quality.

These are 2 different makers...there are going to be differences. People are trying to compare a naval orange to a blood orange. It would be like calling a Vienna design panzer badge fake because Juncker makes a much nicer badge.

Honestly I dont see anything wrong with Hensler badges...but I do have skin in the game.

            Regards,
            Chris G.

I don't have Jo Rivet's book but based on what I have found online it seems that he is saying that all of the Hensler badges are fake.
              Looking for a 30 '06 Chauchat magazine.

The Hensler looks smaller side by side. The details on these Henslers are also extremely soft. I’m assuming the darkening was their own custom touch?

Just because someone wrote a book doesn’t prove a fake but it seems the book went into extensive detail so it weighs heavily against it.
