    Hi Yancy,

thanks for posting the wreck pics! You could have posted the "StuG" here as well, because it is another Panzer IV, in fact. Just a bit flattened by what looks like an internal explosion. Like the flat Tiger here:

(from the web, can't remember the site)

      Yancy,

Thanks for posting those super pics of knocked out German armor.

      Matthias,

That Tiger I was on a dealer website...he currently has some more of the same Tiger up for auction on his site. I don't advise that you post photos that don't belong to you.

Bill, thank you, I normally ask our posters not to post scans of the photos that are not in their collection.

But for this specific case, it was posted to explain the situation of Yancy's photo, so I considered it as a "fair use" to help the discussion.

          Matthias,

i never noticed untill you mentioned it!so 5 photos of Pz.IV's and no stug pic from that photo group, ill have to keep looking for a nice stug shot-i had a number at one time but since panzer items are not my main collecting interest i allways seem to end up tradeing or selling them to fund a RAD purchase anyways heres the pic from the other thread that i miss ID as a stug-

Bill as promised a photo from my new GI album. Looks like the fellow wass/sgt. james Garnicki of baty. a 894th AAA (aw) gatt.

A knocked out panther. Either in Italy or France as his photos encompass both countries.

Awesome photo. Unpublished Sturmpanzer IV pics are few and far between!

Thanks for sharing these with us, Yancy.
