    Many Thanks!

    Jeremy and Gary,

    Nice work gentlemen!

The signature collecting community owes you a massive debt of gratitude.

A lot of people have this FAKE Marseille signature in their collections. It has appeared in increasing numbers over the years....

You have brought a point of perfect clarity to a business that seems to thrive on dealer fairy tale stories, secrecy, smoke and mirrors and gullibility.

You have my greatest respect for continuing to do the right thing, standing up for the interests of collectors, despite threats of legal action and rubbish conspiracy theories coming from those that fear the clarity you have brought to our hobby.

I fear there are a lot more dodgy signatures out there.

As Eric-Jan said...be vigilant guys, their next attempt will learn from their earlier mistakes.....

    Grtz,

    pfeil

        pfff

Here it is. Even though he knows about these threads, I assume Huesken is 100% sure and confident about the authenticity of the clipping to persist in selling it. I really think sufficient doubt has been raised about the authenticity of such material to contradict such ignorance...

Is it accurate to state that ANY purportedly original document w/ the type fonts shown above is actually post war?

                    Hi All

New to the forum and its taken me a while to catch up on these threads. I am a collector and have bought from most of the dealers mentioned on this site (not directly from Koerlin however)
This matter seems to have died off some time ago yet there are still a lot of these 'suspect' signatures on the market. I notice that legends aviation is still advertising their works as well.
I have contacted the dealer from whom i purchased my Marseille signature to obtain more information on the origin of the piece but as yet total silence.
What is going on? This is a very serious matter (fraud) is anybody doing anything about it?
                    w.

                      Hi Auzwaz,
Can you post scans of your marseille item here?

Did you get a response from the dealer? I suggest you name the dealer here if you are having problems with them...

                      Cheers
                      J

Is anyone able to answer this question put by Luftm40 and a similar question by myself ealier in this thread ?

If not I see the whole relevance to the whole thread of no use whatsoever except in the case of this particular document alone.

(though I know the point was in regard to the signature, I think this aspect of the typescript is an important aspect)
