    MB-945 Eastern Front Campaign Medal

Hey guys. I hope these pics are good enough for authentication. I figure these aren't real valuable so probably not many fakes out there. The description says, "Eastern Front Campaign Medal. The suspension ring is marked 6 for the Fritz Zimmermann company of Stuttgart. Long clean ribbon. Condition I." What do you think? I am thinking of buying it for $38USD+ $4 shipping. Thank you.

The pictures are not the best, but it appears to me like an original medal and ribbon. I would not rate it as condition I, though. For me it is average condition at best.

      Best regards,

Think this one is worth $55USD? I like it because it comes with the envelope. Not sure why some websites don't have enough close up pics.

It certainly looks original, though only in average condition. Be sure to see if the ring is marked and if so, it should match to a maker listed as being in Gablonz. The price is probably about the going rate for a dealer site, though cheaper can certainly be found if you hit the shows or look on the estand for bargains. If it's not a matched set, you might want to hold out for something that is matching and in better condition. Ostmedaille are very, very common and easily found so if you're just looking for a single sample to own, it's always best to get an excellent condition one IMO.

You might also go to the website linked above to see if the obverse matches Gablonz made medals, though I can't ever seem to have the eye for detail to do it myself.

I am searching for medals and badges from Gablonz makers.
