          What a pity!
          Probably a mint helmet that has been refurbished for a biker
          I wonder if it's still possible to recover the original paint under the nickel plating

                No you can't. because before plating you need to do an acid acidic preparation of the steel

                  fj lemet I have several Fj helmets,Funniest is the last ourchase marked ET68 batch 57

                  My latest puchased one perfectly marked ET68 batch 5770 correct rolled rim but fits a /! liner.I never saw anything unless is a discarded survivor one. Has circumference 74 cms. All other ranges from 72 to 72.20 71,50 72,50 and the ET 68 DD early type eagle 69 cms and 70 cms, To be a fake I haven't found any evidence;But doesn't convince me,.If anyone can help me utmost appreciated.
