    Studio Portraits

Another epic image from the Bunde collection. The MP38 is my favorite WWII weapon, so this one may be my all time favorite studio portrait.

    for John

Sharing same tastes with John in fact of weapons, this is another with MP40. A very early picture.
Unfortunately it's framed in glass, and can't really take a better quality image...
Please, show more portraits with Mp!!!

I'm not a fan of the fj, but I must say that these two are pretty cool warriors.

Fantastic photos Eric! That army breast eagle looks hand sewn, at least it does for my phone. Now that is a desirable jump smock!

Yes it is. Have you ever seen such an example embroidered on a light background?

                              Photo #5 lower one

                              Hi,
Out of interest what would be the explanation for this soldier wearing an Army breast eagle and an Army belt buckle, but also a splinter smock which I believe (right or wrong??) only came into existance after the Army paratroops were taken into the Luftwaffe.

This not a trick question, I am just interested to know what interpretation should be put on this photo.

                              Many thanks lennard
