            Both ends appear to have been cut. The stains were found on many of the ones which were found, and came from storage. Certainly original, but it does not look like it was sewn on a unform.

              Agree with willi a lot of these with stains came on the market , late 80s or before first i have seen with RB no , original i have soft spot for Kreta bands best martin

                I agree, possibly it comes from a stock allegedly found many years ago in the basement of a destroyed building in Wroklaw (formerly Breslau). The damages/stains are from humidity.
