after confirmation from a forum member who knew him.
this photo represents well Gottfried EMRICH veteran of kreta (4 / fjr3 with schmelling), Neva, North Africa and Normandy.
if other members knew him, (Edgar Alcidi mentions him in his book "Ramcke brigade") my question is: in which unit was he in normandy?
