I recovered this photo of this Oberjäger. veteran of the Kreta
on the back of the photo is inscribed: februar 1944 frankreich Angoulême
which units fj were in france in this sector and this period?

Could it be the 3. Fallschirmjäger-Division?

it would be Gottfried Emrich, veteran of kreta, neva, north africa and normandy
Edgar Alcidi knew him, I think.
he mentions Gottfried Emrich in one of his books.
