from the drive licence, i think he was not in Tiger, but in Ausf.III,
when back from Afrika he then drove or commanded a Tiger (II) to the end of war.
            what do you think?

I think you are correct. He participated in invasion of Russia, sent to Africa in Spring of 42. Then he must have gotten sick or lucky to escape the surrender in Africa.
              Very nice Tiger Soldbuch!

Looks like he went to Tunisia in December 42, then was in sent to Italian hospital a few weeks before the surrender. No condition given but most likely illness.

He arrived African soil on December 11th, 1.942 as stated in his Soldbuch.

Stamp on the Ostmedaille is for Fp 25032 I think Stab und Stabskompanie s.Pz.Abt. 501, can you read it? and via an Order dated November 9th, 1.942 by W.B.K. Bad Homburg.

He was born in August 9th, 1.923 so if he goes via the normal way in late 1.941 he registered for service, go through R.A.D. service (4 to 7 months as I see in other Wehrpass from this period) and them to the Wehrmacht.

In my opinion the Soldbuch is the original one and he served in Russia either with R.A.D. or with another paramilitary organization and qualified for the Ostmedaille with them, this is why the W.B.K. notified the award and not a military unit.

For the rest is simple, sent to Africa, wounded or sick, evacuated and back to service in Russia.

Looking for DKiG Heer winner Soldbuch who also won the TDB and/or CCC, specially in Silver.

Yes - his age suggests this is a likely answer.

I agree, he earned the Ostmedaille with another organisation. I think the NSKK, due to the rank of Oberstaffelführer on the Führerschein.

                              Not necessarily:

One of the NSKK's wartime missions was the training and testing of motor vehicle drivers for the armed forces, so it is not surprising that a soldier's driver's test was taken by an NSKK officer.

Isaak's own rank designation on the driver's license is not an NSKK- but an army one: Kraftfahrer; the lowest rank in the Fahrtruppe.
