    Unknown Cross Pforzheim

Am I correct in assuming that this is a post WW2 fantasy cross? Thanks, Tom.

It would appear so, without any other provenance.

      IMO post-war handicrafts

Most likely an original, pre-45 shooting award.

Out of curiosity, any evidence for that? Would be interesting to see.

The 800 mark, the needle systeem, the disign and the patina! I tend most to a 30s handcraft piece.

for pre-ww2 item it looks too modern in my opinion (the lines on arms for example)
Always interested in medal bars with EK2 from ww2! Please, offer!

Certainly looks art nouveau, but also looks far too KvK I without swords too. Heavens it could be a field made piece for someone before the arrival of the award for all we know. Very interesting piece. I guess wartime because the design of the kvk was not around before then and not so much postwar because you could just get a kvk and be done with it. Again, who knows.
