Metz 1944 Cufftitle

I know this Metz cufftitle doesn't look like the ones posted as original, but what do you think or know about this one? it is nicely embroidered and has folded cloth on the back like wartime examples.

Can't be that modern. The fellow that sent it to me for opinions has had it for years, and he got it from an old collection.

Anyway this doesn't change anything on the fact this is simply a fake, a ugly, horrible made fake that has nothing in common with the known originals.
And yes, I confirm, IMO modern, and I have reasons to believe that.
It surfaced not so long time ago as you think, and this fake was already known since years and already popped up here and there.

Or maybe did you get angry because what you thought to be "nicely made" is a blatant fake?
