Some basic research shows interesting information on AB in the Korean war. Their was only one operational AB outfit that fought in Korea. That was the 187th Airborne Regimental Combat team. They made two combat drops in the war. They were the only combat drops in Korea. The helmet has "HQ Btry" after the s/n. This is understood by those I have asked to mean "Battery" and that refers to an "Artillery Battery". A google search comes up with the same meaning. If this is correct the only Artillery Unit assigned to the 187th was the 647th Airborne Field Artillery Battalion "Rakkasans". The 647th was the first group to air drop 105 mm Howitzers into a combat zone. While not conclusive it is the logical take away. https://www.koreanwar2.org/kwp2/ftbenning/ds21_i23.pdf
