[Seki stamp] Nōshū-ju Mori Kaneharu saku
Made by Mori Kaneharu Residing in Nōshū.
The modern name for Nōshū is Gifu; this is where the city of Seki is located. This smith used the very old version of "Prefecture" 刕; normally it is written 州.

KANEHARU (兼治), Shōwa (昭和, 1926-1989), Gifu – “Kaneharu” (兼治), real name Mori Ryōtarō (森良太郎), born October 19th 1904, he worked as a guntō smith.
