    Flag Translation- shrine stamp

Hi Gents- was doing some final cleaning out of my parents basement the other day and found a box of wwii stuff I had no idea was there. Usually I remember where I got things even if I haven’t seen it in years... I have no recollection of even owning this. It’s kind of an odd size...25”x16”. Anyways, if anyone could provide any kind of translation for me I’d greatly appreciate it. Also, is there any way to identify the shrine stamp?

    thanks!

This is a genuine GI-made "Tojo flag." You can see Tojo's forged signature at the bottom right. Probably done by the Seabees during the war, or soon after.

It would make a good counter-point in your collection if you were able to display it next to an authentic yosegaki flag.
