What type of Mortar round ?

Need some help with this mortar round,I don't collect Japanese items unless it was in a 11th airborne group. I was first told this was a 81mm type 100 then a type 94 90mm any help would be great.

Unless a resident expert floats by (Hello Jim?? ) I think your best bet is to measure the outside diameter at the widest point of the barrel casing and tell us the answer is XXmm.

Hello! This is a Japanese Type 94(1934) 90mm HE mortar shell. These are a bit rare. I see it has matching serial numbers, the condition is so so. This is still a good piece. It needs a type 93 mortar fuze. This is what those fuzes look like.
