    From this data plate alone, it is not possible to tell which plate was attached to which aircraft. However, there are stamps of the Japanese Navy and Toyokawa Navy Arsenal. It can be imagined that it was peeled off from the Navy's aircraft and related to machine guns or optical equipment.

    Thank you very much! So it looks like no direct connection to a specific aircraft type - at best a data plate off a component from a manufacturer that might did supply some aircraft parts (based on my quick searches)

    Does that seem reasonable?
