      Gran,

Celebrations for 14 Juillet - Bastille day!

If you could post a clear detailed scan of some of the front-facing images in the 2nd sheet, we could identify the medal for you. May be Croix de Guerre...

Appears she may have been one of the auxiliary females from the Free French/liberation forces....

Definitely appears to be CDG with citation star.

1944-49, I'd expect there were lots of 14 July ceremonies in cities all over the country used as an occasion to bestow honors.

              A recent example: https://www.sudouest.fr/2018/07/16/l...36203-3307.php

this picture was taken in "place Kléber" in strasbourg

every 14th july many soldiers are awarded in every town, small village, this is a famous day with military parade on "champs-élysée" in Paris

this day is special day for the legionnaires of french foreign legion, this is the day they obtain the french passport for those who fought 5 years and more for france

personnaly i get two medals on bastille day military valor cross and national defense in gold
