This badge does not match the design in the Meybauer catalog nor does it have a reverse set up that conforms to any known Meybauer used type. The obverse design can be found marked with 800, AWS, or unmarked with different reverse setups, some more believable than others.

I would say that the one shown is not an original . Trouble is the waters have been so muddied that I don’t think anyone is really sure which are the genuine ones . I would guess that one in every thousand seen may be an original .

Good day gents! Would be able to purchase one of these out of an old collection. Knowing that these badges are a minefield i would appreciate to hear any opinion.
