    Denison smock

I recently saw a denison smock Belonging to a maintenance guy i know, he was in 2 para. I have become obsessed with trying to find one.
I tried bidding on one on eBay but was unsuccessful.

I have finally found one I like it very much.I hope it meets with approval,I have kind of gone in blind.I have been reading up on past thread but i find it all a little confusing with all the different patterns and makers.

Any opinions would be much appreciated
    Cheers
    Dave.

All you need is a torso a beret and a stay bright cap badge!
The smock is the hardest to find and most expensive part,
Ps I don’t leave it on the window cill it just look great on a table out of direct sunlight

          Kind regards Chay

Chay and Dave, great smocks! You guys have very good eyes for nice items. Is either one named? Any known history?

Chay I'm glad to hear you don't leave your smock in direct sun light.
I haven't decided if i wasnt to build a display or just find more smocks.

Great information and I just realised something!
My name is Chay which is short for Charles and I was named after Chay Blyth a Scottish paratrooper who most likely wore the same smock!

                    Kind regards Chay

                          Thank you,
It just is a glimpse into mind of these tough men,
A point of interest I met a Scottish para retired and he told me about his first week in training where he encountered Chay Blyth and was ordered to lift a heavy table of which he said he had heavy end with other recruits and dropped it under the weight he said Chay kicked him very hard in the behind!

                          Kind regards Chay

The history of your smock would relate to that of 10th Bn., The Parachute Regt., (V) after 1967.

I don't image many had it any easier during training
