Last year, I was able to obtain a new group of pictures and documents that originally came from the Koopmann family. With the gracious help of WAF moderator Don D., I have added 3 pictures on pages 1-2-3 of the thread.

Post # 13--- Freikorps: Erwin Koopmann and one of his brothers.

Post # 29--- Erwin Koopmann at his son’s gravesite.

      Post # 36--- Ramushevo, (Russia) August 1942.

      Cheers,
      Robert

          Hi Rene,

          http://de.metapedia.org/wiki/Koopmann,_Erwin

Earlier this year, the `Koopmann` story has been summarized and posted on the German Metapedia by a WAF member.

          Thank for your kind words,
          Robert

              Deutschland, Deutschland über alles!

              not a bit egoistic

However, recently this die neue über alles hit

Oh, say! can you see by the dawn's early light
              What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming;
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there:
Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
"5:50 PM.Last ammo loaded.I dont see the point of the further resistance. In the evening 6:00 PM age the outbreak has been begin"
