      Hi Guys, I'm obsessed with preserving my artifacts and have decided to put some LDPE foam padding between the fabric layers of my newly aqcuired cufftitle (SS Thüringen -Cool huh?) as well as my armbands. While a small detail, I suspect this will better preserve the areas where the textiles are folded back on themselves.

      After doing some research I've decided to use the 1/4" thick foam from the link below -The Volara Type 2A (LDPE), not the Type 4 which is UVA and not recommended for archival purposes.
