SAM_5511.JPG SAM_5447.JPG SAM_5513.JPG I'm unsure if I have posted in the correct forum but here goes.
I acquired several original German medals quite recently for very little money. The best three combat badges were all slightly damaged, broken pin, broken pin retaining catch and a missing swastika from a badge that had become de-nazified .So with plenty of time on my hands I set about trying to repair the badges as best I could.I have never tried this before so didn't have the kind of resources that would provide me with excellent results.I searched my garden shed for odd bits of scrap metal. My main aim is of course to preserve such items for future generations .
Here are the before and after photos.
