          thats a class A machinist there! skillful in refurbishing and with the proper machines/shop etc. Quality all the way...

            So you would have him take your pitted helmet and skim all the rust pocks and old paint away, or shot blast it?

              absolutely not. It's not a helmet. What he did was 'refurbush' it.

              refurbish -verb
              To make new or as if new again:
              furbish, recondition, re-create, refresh, rejuvenate, renew, renovate, restore, revamp.
              Idiom: give a new look to.


              - its a rare old tool that was damaged beyond regular restoration probably impossible to get parts for.
              He made it useable, and probably does use it!

              Like what he did or not,,the guy has skills and nice equipment..
