Default WWII 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment

I thought some of you might enjoy taking a look at a xouple of World War II Distinctive Unit Insignias aka unit crests worn by the 506th P.I.R. in World War II. These examples were made in England and are sterling marked.

Thanks for posting the 506th pictures. Perhaps someone might be interested in a few items that my father has from his days in the 506th PIR, 1st Bn. The first is a card retracing the '44 and '45 trail, second a bronze placard, and third, Gen Bradley's instructions provided in spring 1945. ---d.
