235th Armed Helicopter Company
Added this one in. I believe it's Japanese made. Very soft almost velvet like pocket patch.
Little is out there on the 235th Armed Helicopter Company.

This is one of my favorite AHCs.
It was the first unit in Vietnam to be composed of just Cobras and these gunships were used as hired guns for anyone in the Delta who wanted to have stuff blown up and obliterated.
There is a nice rescue story involving this unit.
Maybe you have seen it?

Yep got that article from Hawk Magazine. Before they become an Armed Helicopter Company they were an Aerial Weapons Company. Don't know when they were re-designated but the 235th were one of the first units to get the Cobra.
A few more 235th Cobras

Unlike many of the other AHC the 235th didn't seem to standardize their markings on their cobras. Some have the triangle on the doghouse, others near the gunner station or on the chin turret while others have no markings.
