Default SA Dolch-opinion please

Hello dear colleagues!
I would like to read your views on this dagger, is that okay?
Eagle looks like a fake in my opinion
It dagger consisting of components from the respective manufacturer and year of manufacture?
Thank you very much for any opinions

I looked at the pictures before I read your post. The eagle concerned me as well.

7/13 is Arthur Shuttlehoffer & Sohne

The scabbard does not look like a 7/13, too plump.

M7/13 is the most common SA RZM code for SA daggers of the period

Okay guys, do you think, then, that this dagger is composed of various components that do not belong to this model and the eagle is original?
Thank you for the feedback

Hi Jindrich,

While it makes me cringe every time I see a sidearm taken apart, my opinion from what you show us is that it appears to be a parts dagger. It would be most helpful to see the reverse ricasso and thereby the maker's logo or RZM code, as well as whether there are any markings on the lower reverse crossguard. But to me the crossguards appear to be solid, indicating an early manufacture date, but the upper scabbard fitting -- the only one we can see from your photos -- looks to me to be chrome-plated, indicating a late-model scabbard. Can't tell from the pix whether the scabbard body is anodized or painted...

Hope these thoughts are helpful. Cheers,

Br. James

The case is painted, I have not got a better photo available
Patronage and screws should be zinc plating, nickel plating is a part of the survey
Material eagle will probably aluminum
Marking is RZM 7/13
