This is indeed a French 47/56 para smock used by the Isreali's, the stamps inside are Isreali IDF acceptance and you can see the remains of the IDF black ink stamp above the left chest pocket on the front of the smock. Pretty much all IDF lizard camo featured the stamp on the outside above the left chest pocket.
France was Isreal's largest supplier of camouflage uniforms and equipment from 1956 to 1968. French 'Lizard' camouflage uniforms of 47/53, 47/54 and 47/56 patterns were supplied to the Isreali Defence Force's elite units such as paratroopers and commandos, and remained in use up until around 1968 when they started to appear in use by the Palestinians. Photos taken during the 1968 'Six day war' in Jerusalem by the British war photographer Don McCullin show Isreali paras wearing a mixed bag of the above lizard uniforms.
