Hi, could I please have your opinion on this shovel & carrier. It looks OK as far as I know but I would like some other opinions.

Andy,
thanks for your opinion. My main concern is the rivets on both sides are ground. Was this a common practice when they were manufactured?

The Making of the Rivets of the Entrenching Tool looks a little bit unusual but quite Sure a Maker´s Singularity.

Did anyone else see these kind of grind marks before on an entrenching tool? I would really appreciate any help.

Del, I don't think it is anything to worry about. There is always some level of grinding to reduce exposed rivets.
