Exclamation Named Luftwaffe Lieutenant Tunic Opinions

Might make a move for this on the e-stand, seeing as this could be the best place to buy originals.
What are your opinions on this? The designs look good to me just from the books and references I have, but Im not sure about the label inside the jacket (Hradec Krolov) or the plain white lining in the sleeves.

Cheers

I rather like it. I'm guessing it's tailor-made in perhaps Czechoslovakia or Poland. I also see evidence that it's in fact an NCO-upgrade, the shadow of removed tresse on the rear of the collar. Sleeve lining isn't an issue.

Anyway, these are just my amateur observations. I'm sure more knowledgable members will steer you in the right direction.

Something isn't right with it. Colar tabs IMO replaced, reaplyed. Also the shoulderboards are strange. They seem uneven,...one is longer. Not for me

Taking a more careful look, also now not for me.

Das Reich,

Just a quick glance and I don't know that I like it either. Sloppy construction, especially the epaulettes, which seem to be stitched in rather un-elegantly and may be mis-matched. Sloppy construction doesn't always mean inauthentic, however, so you do have to be careful. I've seen occupation-made uniforms that were just as good or better than the finest German tailoring. But I've also seen atrocious.

I don't like this tunic from the limited photos and wouldn't pursue it given the condition. Also "not for me," which is usually code for varying degrees of something suspect at best, or inauthenticity at worst.

If you were seriously interested and wanted to rule it out either way, I'd at least ask for close-up shots of all insignia, both inside and out (or top and bottom).

IMO only look in this tunic is the look away. There are a lot of nice LW tunics out there, maybe few 100 $ more but surely worth it. Better to loose 500 eur on this XXXX.

For me an original tunic with original insignia, but most likely a complete rebuild. Not a top shelf tunic, but price is very fair for what it is IMO.
