Yes, I use it and it's great. It took me only about 4-5 hours to collect the materials needed for the collimation tool and assemble them: http://www.flickr.com/photos/binocwp...in/photostream . Using this method made collecting binoculars affordable and enjoyable. I'm really surprised more collectors don't use it. It is very easy to conditionally align using this method and although complete collimation takes more experience to master, it is not as difficult to do as the article suggests. If you do undertake this project and need help don't hesitate to send me a private mail.

I do have part of an army test bench but I don´t know how to employ it.
