Default 1ST Patten RLB dagger

Hi Guys, would like you to take alook at my latest and first RLB dagger (off E-stand) Im fine with the dagger itself but the hanger I don't know as I can only find leather ones, this seems to be a plastic type ? maybe a replacement ?
Any help/info would be Super. Thanks in advance. Best Bones

That model was issued with a leather hanger. However they were well know for their weakness and wore out rapidly. The plastic strap is a late war item, known to be found on some late 2nd Mod-RLB's.

The plastic strap striations look correct and I believe this to be a period factory replacement.

If you change the hanger thats on it now there will be no doubt it's a parts dagger.
